Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Edexcel Pathway (EDSML + MBA)

The Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree is internationally recognised and is seen as a passport to a successful management career. The MBA is essentially a generalist qualification designed to widen the horizons of business professionals. It takes into account all the major functions and practises of a business.

Scope & Objective

Choosing to do an MBA involves a significant investment of time and money. It’s therefore logical that people want to know the benefits of an MBA in terms of potential earnings in order to assess return on this investment. The increase in salary that comes about from graduating from an accredited MBA programme is an important factor for many people.
An MBA can enable a modern manager to identify a range of personal, business and employment opportunities. Studying for an MBA provides students with an exceptional platform for networking – and not only with fellow students. Internships and employment placements, working with leading international faculty, and connecting with top business schools' extensive alumni networks are all benefits of studying on an accredited MBA programme.

Course Structure & Credit Transfers

Every Univeristy program expresses the structure of most of its taught programmes in terms of credits. Each programme unit has a tariff of credit points to indicate the volume of learning; credit points represents the hours of student effort spent on learning activities, including all forms of study, preparation of assignments, revision and assessment. MBAs in UK Universities are normally structured with 180 credits. Credits are awarded to students who successfully complete a programme unit, by attending as required and satisfying the criteria for assessment. Credit Transfers help to demonstrate what a student has already studied successfully, and thus facilitates decisions about the movement of students between programmes and from one institution to another.

Programme Structure

The pathway program is structured in such a manner that the student complete upto 120 credits in Pune by completing the Extended Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership (EDSML) and progress to UK universities for the final 60 credits (Final Term of Uk University MBA program) . Once the needed credits are compiled, the student is eligible for a full MBA certification from the University in UK in which they complete their program.
