The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Business Studies allows progression to a degree in business specializations in UK Universities and also other countries like Australia and US. They can also progress one of its specialist areas or within employment in the business sector, either directly on achievement of the award or following further study to degree level.

The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 HND in Business provides opportunities for learners to apply their knowledge and practical skills in the workplace. The qualification prepares learners for employment in the business sector and will be suitable for learners who have already decided that they wish to enter this area of work. Some learners may wish to use this qualification in order to enter a specialist area of employment in the sector, where learners may work towards professional membership or study for professional body examinations.

Successful candidates can apply for BA(Hons)/Bsc(Hons) Top Up degrees at reputed UK universities. Students must meet the University entry criteria in order to obtain entry for the Top Up programmes. Edexcel Level 5 BTEC Higher National Diploma gives you 240 credit points to be transferred towards their graduation third year in a shorter duration for a lesser cost.

A significant benefit of achieving this qualification is that successful students will be automatically entitled to become Associate Members of the UK’s foremost bodies for Professional Managers, the Chartered Management Institute, and will be eligible to use the designation of ACMI after their name (depending on the level of previous work experience).  This demonstrates your competence as a trained manager and only 20% of UK managers are qualified in this way.
